If you’re posting your own unique photos on your Pinterest page, a little known secret to drawing more fans to your other social sites is to include your social URL’s in the description of each pin you post. That’s right, you can add a brief description and then invite people to learn more on your Facebook page, website or your blog. Here’s an example:
Bonus Tip: Extend your reach by adding hashtags to your pins. This small tweak will help people find your material when their searching by key words. Here’s what it looks like:
#2 Social links | Location Box
The “Location” box on your Pinterest page is an untapped area for growing your fan base on your other social sites. Most people think they need to put their city/town in the “Location” box in their Pinterest profile. How about putting your Facebook, blog or Twitter URL to draw new fans? Here’s how it can look:

Here’s how to make the addition. Consider adding your website and social sites to the ‘About You’ box. I’ve also added my Facebook business page as my location. Consider this tactic if your Facebook page is robust and filled with relevant content. Remember to ‘SAVE Profile’ when you’re finished.

Each time you set up a new Board on your Pinterest site there’s a Board Description box that many people leave blank. This is the perfect opportunity to include your website and social links.
