Who’s reading your blog?
Do enough of your fans, followers and clients read your blog? Or do you somehow feel that there aren’t enough eyeballs reading your words of wisdom and wish there was a way to skyrocket your blog viewership?
Well, stop wishing and start ramping up your blog viewership with these marketing tips.
Pinterest and Your Blog
While many of us think of Pinterest only as a source for recipes and DIY, it’s also the perfect place for your blog. Just think about it, people are using Pinterest as a search engine to learn more about life. Why not include your travel wisdom in this plethora of Pinterest!
Marketing your blog on Pinterest is easy with these steps:
- Once your blog post is written and published, you’re ready to include it on your Pinterest site.
- Create a long pin measuring 735pixels x 1035 pixels (or longer) with the blog title. Use a tool like Canva, PicMonkey or Paint.
- Create a new Pin and upload your new graphic design, include a Pin description so people understand the value of your blog post. See Figure 1
- Include the URL to your blog post
- Select a relevant board and save your Pin
- Scheduling Pins for a future date is now available. See Figure 1
- Easy!

LinkedIn and Your Blog
Do your blog topics resonate with executives? Don’t miss out on the power of LinkedIn Posts and Articles in your effort to earn more blog readers.
Posting your blog to LinkedIn is a great way to potentially reach luxury travelers and dive into the incentive group market.
I’ve found that when I create a LinkedIn Article it receives more views and engagement than a regular post. Simply copy/paste your blog content into the ‘Articles’ template and publish! In the LinkedIn feed an Article stands out and appears differently to readers.
Remember to share your new article into relevant LinkedIn Groups so that it will earn even more eyeballs.

Your clients and potential clients will love reading your words of wisdom and learning from your expertise. What a great way to grow your relationships and build your credibility.
Your blog is a phenomenal marketing tool as well as a way to grow your SEO and your clients trust.
